Original folding field shovel from the stocks of the former Romanian People's Army, a former member of the Warsaw Pact military alliance. This model is very similar to the one used by the East German army (NVA), the similarity being probably intentional.
Features:
Military-style folding shovel, sturdy and functional
Solid wood handle with high-quality finish
Solid construction, ideal for camping, bushcraft, outdoor activities, or collecting
Includes original leather belt holster (koppel)
Vintage product, manufactured in the 1980s in socialist Romania
Provenance: authentic military stock
Condition:
All shovels are in good working order. They may show signs of wear specific to storage or use, such as: slight scratches on the wooden handle, minor chips in the lacquer coating.
A genuine and fully functional collector's item – a piece of Romanian military history.
