     Expedition Gore classic bivvy sleeping bag cover - fully waterproof and breathable. But with a difference: with the zip-in-zip system, you can zip the sleeping bag into the pouch. Getting in and out is just as comfortable as a sleeping bag without a cover.

BIVOUAC COVERS
     A bivvy cover may be necessary if you can't find a tent site, are forced to sleep outdoors, or simply don't want to wear a tent. This means that a bivouac cover can be essential for comfort and survival! We use the best materials available on the market: GORE-TEX® gas permeable technology is a unique three-layer laminate that is completely waterproof and extremely breathable. Unlike the GORE-TEX® membrane used for clothing, GORE-TEX® Gas Permeation Technology is air permeable.

This means it is possible to create a completely enclosed, waterproof, and windproof environment for sleeping in adverse weather conditions. The air permeability of the system was tested at a depth of 1 m of snow.

To achieve the best balance between durability and lightweight, a combination of materials can be used, with a lighter gas-permeable material for the top cover and a robust laminate for the ground plate. PROTECTION AGAINST COLD AND DAMP
     CARINTHIA Bivy Bag Systems with GORE-TEX® Gas Permeation Technology demonstrate excellent insulation properties and extra protection against the cold, especially when closed. Moisture vapor condensation inside is reduced, and any condensation that does occur is quickly transported to the outside.
