Multifunctional Swagman Scarf - Taiga Green - Helikon-Tex

Lightweight and compact survival scarf
The Swagman Scarf is an accessory that truly expands your options in the field. In a bug-out bag, in your car kit, or in your everyday setup – it takes up very little space while providing a significant safety margin.

It also proves extremely useful in rescue operations, where speed, functionality, and reliable gear matter most.

One item, multiple configurations

• Provides additional protection against the wind.

• When folded and worn around the neck, it enhances chest insulation and helps maintain body temperature while moving.

• When unfolded, it becomes a poncho with a hood, and when fastened at the sides, it transforms into a lightweight jacket.

• In camp, it can serve as an improvised tarp or an ultralight sleeping bag.

• Cinched at the ends, it can be used as a gear sack.

• In emergencies, it can replace an NRC thermal foil – but it’s much more durable.

Practical solutions that reduce reaction time and simplify decisions.

What can I use the Swagman Scarf for?
It can be used as a scarf, an improvised ground pad, an extra gear bag, wind protection, or a durable alternative to an emergency blanket when temperatures drop.

Lightweight, compressible, always ready
A large rectangular nylon panel folds compactly and quickly returns to shape when needed. The material moves with you, and the design integrates perfectly with your layering system – from jackets to harnesses and backpack hip belts.

Origin and concept
The Swagman Scarf develops the idea of the survival scarf introduced by Mors Kochanski – Canadian survival instructor and experienced bushcrafter of Polish descent. It’s our tribute to him and our answer to the real needs of users:

• multifunctional,

• smartly designed,

• field-tested.

The Swagman Scarf is a product we’ve tested ourselves – so you can rely on it.
