The reversible Swagman Roll® combines the features of a blanket, sleeping bag, poncho, and liner. It brings together the advantages of all these items without their typical drawbacks.
It is lightweight and warm thanks to the advanced Climashield Apex® insulation with a density of 67 g/m². To transform the Swagman Roll® into a sleeping bag, simply close the zippers along the edges. It can also be used together with the US Poncho (available separately), creating a practical and efficient protection system against cold and rain. By fastening the waist strap, the material stays closer to the body, functioning similarly to an emergency jacket.
The reversible Swagman Roll® is ideal for camping, car use, or as part of a survival kit / BOB (Bug-Out Bag). This version of the classic Swagman Roll® features a reversible design, allowing better camouflage adaptation to the surrounding environment.
In the past, hunters, soldiers, and Australian itinerant workers (“swagmen”) used thick wool blankets for thermal protection. Over time, these were replaced by modern synthetic materials used together with ponchos for protection against rain and cold. Today, the Reversible Swagman Roll® uses modern technology to improve this classic concept, following the #JourneyToPerfection philosophy.
