Original officer's service / walking-out tunic belonging to the Hungarian People's Army (Magyar Néphadsereg – MNH), used during the socialist period of Hungary.

The model is characteristic of the Kádár era, approximately from the 1960s–1980s, and features the typical cut of service uniforms worn by Hungarian Army officers during the Cold War period.

The tunic is made in an olive brown/khaki colour, with an elegant service-uniform cut. It features four patch pockets with flaps, gold-coloured metal buttons with military insignia, and shoulder boards decorated with gold embroidery.

Each shoulder board features one silver star, corresponding to the rank of Major in the Hungarian People's Army rank system.
