The BaoFeng UV-5R HTQ USB-C is a recent version of the popular UV-5R handheld radio. It is a dual-band model featuring a redesigned antenna and an enlarged 3800 mAh battery, which can be charged both using the charging dock and via the integrated USB-C port.

The radio offers a maximum transmission power of 5 W and is designed for operation within the frequency ranges specified by the manufacturer. Under favorable conditions and depending on terrain and obstacles, the radio can provide communication over several kilometers.

The model features a range of practical functions, including a backlit LCD display, a setup menu with more than 40 options, Dual Watch for monitoring two frequencies simultaneously, a built-in LED flashlight, and memory for up to 128 channels.

The built-in FM receiver allows you to listen to radio broadcasts in the 65–108 MHz range. The radio automatically switches back to the communication band when a signal is received.

The HTQ version uses optimized signal modulation designed to improve operation in conditions with interference.
